All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please ensure you read and fully understand these booking terms and conditions. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings. The individual named on the booking remains responsible for ensuring that all guests staying at the property or visiting Meathpark Country House adhere to these booking terms and conditions.
General Term and Conditions
· Maximum number of guests allowed to stay overnight at the property is 12 guests plus 2 infants under the age of 2. If you wish to invite additional guests to visit you during your stay, please ask us first. Please be advised that no extra overnight visitors are allowed to stay at the property.
· Booking made via Airbnb or Booking.com is strictly limited to the use of the property for maximum 12 guests plus 2 infants under the age of 2 as self-catering accommodation. No parties or events are permitted for bookings made via these channels.
· Our digital guest registration form must be completed by all guests prior to check in.
· We would ask that the neighbours be respected in particular in terms of music and that no loud music should be played after 11.00 pm.
· We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance, repairs or for inspection purposes.
· Please do not move any furniture from one room to another or any of the indoor furniture, furnishings or bedlinen outside.
· No pets or animals are allowed at Meathpark Country House.
· Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the property building.
· Domestic electric vehicle chargers (commonly known as a ‘granny charger’ or a ‘trickle charger’) are not suitable for use at the property and are strictly forbidden. You are liable for any damage or loss suffered by us due to your unauthorised use of domestic chargers.
· If you wish to use the services of a third-party supplier (e.g. a chef) this must be agreed beforehand. If you bring a third-party supplier without consent, we reserve the right to ask them to leave. We do not accept liability for the activities of these third-party suppliers.
· In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you, or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.
· The Lead Guest assumes full financial liability for any theft, damage, loss, or deep cleaning requirements caused to the room(s), property, structure, or fixtures by any deliberate, negligent, or reckless act of the guest or any person in their visiting party. By confirming this booking and providing payment card details, you explicitly authorize Meathpark Country House to securely retain your credit or debit card details on file. You hereby authorize Meathpark Country House to charge the stored payment card for the actual cost of rectifying any damage, replacing missing or broken items, executing specialized deep cleaning (including smoking violations), or compensating subsequent guests impacted by the damage. Wherever possible, we will make reasonable efforts to address minor damages internally to minimize costs. If damage or loss comes to light after your departure, we reserve the right to charge the stored card or issue a formal invoice to your registered address. We will provide an itemised breakdown of the costs and photographic evidence via email within 72 hours of the charge being processed.
· You are responsible for the supervision of all members of your party under the age of 18 at all times.
· Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Meathpark Country House accepts no liability for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property arising from a guest's failure to follow the safety instructions, misuse of the equipment, or failure to disclose relevant pre-existing medical conditions.
· All prices quoted are valid for 7 days from date of email. To secure the booking a nonrefundable deposit of 20% deposit is payable. Balance of the payment is due 30 days before arrival. Please note, until a deposit has been taken the dates remain available for other guests to instant book via our partner sites.
Events and Day Guests Terms and Conditions
· The use of the property for events such as parties and weddings is by permission from the owners only and this usage must be discussed and agreed with the owners before booking. Additional charges are applied to cover cleaning, waste disposal and additional admin costs for these types of events. Where permission is granted by the owners for the use of the property for events and parties no event planning services are included.
· Events and weddings are limited to maximum number of 14 for formal dining in the dining room and 25 for informal buffet style arrangements. These numbers cover the maximum number of people on the grounds of the property at any one time (guests staying and day guests). We don’t provide additional crockery or cutlery over and above what is already at the property for events.
· For all events, parties and weddings a minimum damage deposit of £500 is taken. This will be returned within 14 days of the end of your booking, less the cost of damage/breakages. In making an Event booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you, or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.
· No Stag or Hen parties permitted.
Hottub usage and safety Terms and Conditions
Safety first. All users of the Hottub facilities at Meathpark Country House must follow the detailed user instructions below as failure to do so may result in accidents and damages at cost to yourself.
· Do not use the hot tub at all if pregnant, suffering with any health conditions or under the age of 16.
· No alcohol. The use of Alcohol, drugs or medication before or during hottub use is strictly prohibited
· No food. Please do not eat whilst bathing.
· No glassware. Glassware is not allowed in the Hottub area. Please use the plastic glasses provided and do not bring glassware from the living area into the hottub area.
· No fake tan, oils or body lotions permitted. Fake tans, oils and lotions must not be work/used in the hottub. Please shower before using the hottub.
· No shaving or other acts of personal hygiene are allowed in the hottub.
· Enter and exit the hot tub with caution. Please take extra care in the hottub area when entering or leaving the hottub as water from the tub can cause the floor and steps to be slippery.
· When the hottub is not in use, please make sure the cover is on and secured. Please use the hottub lifter to open the hottub cover. The cover should not be manually removed from the hottub.
· The management and owners accept no responsibility for accidents or injury whilst using the hottub.
· Towels and robes are provided for use in the hottub. These are located in the utility of the house (just off the kitchen).
Sauna usage and safety Terms and Conditions
· Safety first. All users of the Hottub facilities at Meathpark Country House must follow the detailed user instructions below as failure to do so may result in accidents and damages at cost to yourself. No alcohol. The use of Alcohol, drugs or medication before or during Sauna use is strictly prohibited. No food. Please do not eat whilst using the Sauna. No glassware. Glassware is not allowed in the Sauna area. Please use the plastic glasses provided and do not bring glassware from the living area into the Sauna area.
· Towels and robes are provided for use in the hottub. These are located in the utility of the house (just off the kitchen).
· Health & Medical Compliance. Use of the sauna is entirely at the guest’s own risk. The sauna represents a high-heat environment that places additional stress on the cardiovascular system. Guests who are pregnant, elderly, suffer from high or low blood pressure, have a heart condition, are diabetic, or are managing any chronic illness or medical condition must consult a qualified medical professional before using the facility. Guests must not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or medication that induces drowsiness or affects blood pressure.
· Guest Responsibility & Supervision. The Lead Guest assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all members of their booking party read, understand, and strictly follow the Sauna Safety Rules displayed at the property. Children under the age of 16 are strictly prohibited from using the sauna at any time. Vulnerable adults must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. The sauna must never be used alone.
· Operational Constraints & Damage. Guests must use the sauna strictly in accordance with the provided user manual and physical safety notices. Do not place flammable items, clothes, or towels on or near the sauna heater elements. No oils, scents, or unapproved chemicals may be added to the water bucket or poured directly onto the heating stones, as this poses a severe fire and respiratory hazard. The Lead Guest will be held fully liable for the actual cost of repairs or deep cleaning resulting from any negligent or unauthorized use of the sauna equipment.
· Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Meathpark Country House accepts no liability for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property arising from a guest's failure to follow the safety instructions, misuse of the equipment, or failure to disclose relevant pre-existing medical conditions.
